custom addons (texture packs, behavior packs) crash the game while giving an error message.

of course I didn't take a screenshot

oh and if you didn't know you can go into the file explorer on Xbox one and add em  here'

s how you do it:

you need: ufo transfer, a computer with a text editor and paint tool, a USB storage device, and a texture pack or behavior pack( https://aka.ms/resourcepacktemplate or https://aka.ms/behaviorpacktemplate ) those links will open a new tab OR open on this window prompting the download for your own

download any .zip file from the link

extract the file:

go to where you saved the file

double click the file

do ctrl+a then ctrl+c

go to downloads section of your computer create a new folder and name it

enter the empty folder and do ctrl+v

wait for everything to paste

edit whatever you want

plug your USB storage device into your computer

click and drag the the folder into your USB storage device

eject your USB storage device

plug your USB storage device into your Xbox one

open UFO. transfer (aka: unified file organizer)

move your cursor to the cog and press A

then move your cursor to the button that says "open in file explorer"

on the top highlight your box over "packages"

press A

look for a folder that has the game title on it "Minecraft"

when found highlight your box over it and press A

here's the directory after you do so

local_state>games>com.mojang

create a new folder name it either behavior_packs or resource_packs (depends on what it is your addon is)

on the side of the app go to the USB storage device

copy the folder

press B

go to the folder you created

paste the folder in the folder

go to Minecraft

create a new world and test

all done

if you got both do the process again at extracting the file
