[MCPE-59871] Can’t shear beehive to get honeycomb

I’ve placed a campfire under a beehive and tried to harvest it with shears. I’ve only gotten honeycomb once. All of the other times I’ve ended up destroying the hive!

Make sure you're just touching the screen, not holding.

I tested in 1.14.1, and I was able to obtain honeycomb from a beehive using shears. As Kevin Okada said, make sure you simply tap the beehive, and not hold it.
