Version 1.14 will not install on Windows 10

I currently have version 1.13.1 installed but it won't update to version 1.14, which means I can't create shared games with my children. I have tried resetting Minecraft in Settings > App, tried resetting Microsoft Store in the same way, and finally tried uninstalling and reinstalling Minecraft. Every attempt just installs v1.13.1.

Please could you advise how I can get this upgraded?

Thanks

Ned

Could it be that your computer can’t run the newest version? I know Minecraft is quite a light weight game but still

I think I meet or exceed the recommended spec, and Store is not giving me any message to tell me I can't update due to system spec. v1.13.1 runs without any performance issues.

Windows 10 version 1903 OS build 18362.592

Radeon R7 M445

It looks like Windows Store needed an update. It was stuck in a loop updating a few apps. Tonight it installed an updated to itself. After a couple of attempts and a reset, that works, and then it updated a raft of other apps, including Minecraft, which brought it up to version 1.14. Hoorah!
