After adding a lot to my Minecraft world (adding homes ect) it all of a sudden didn't save, and went back previous hours, erasing a lot of saved work from many separate play times. I really want to get back what I had built

It's so frustrating! I'm newer to using Minecraft and had followed many hours of tutorials to build and finish out a massive mansion, then built my own summer home and bar and was halfway finished through a massive treehouse. My mansion is still there but the inside is wiped clean, and anything I did after that is gone. I've tried everything I can think of to get it back

This exact glitch happend to me. Anything I built in my world was erased but any mobs that I had stayed exactly where they were. I had an armor stand with a silk touch pickaxe that stayed and all my cows escaped since the fence disappeared.
