I can independently reproduce the issue as seen in the YouTube clip, both in a single-player world and on a Realm. Both instances are of a slime block elevator design that no longer works due to this issue, but was fully functional about a month or two ago.

This is most likely because moving blocks are now full blocks, so the slime blocks don't have the opportunity to bounce the player, as the player is on a block.
