All blocks change to rails in multiplayer

Cannot Reproduce

I joined others multiplayer over wifi, can whatever i put(block or water or even lighting fire) that block changes to powered rail. This is annoying. I want to build things except rails!

They did say that multiplayer would not work if you were using a beta version, so in the event that it did, it would be expected to be very buggy.
