Repeater timings are no longer correct. There are a number of redstone machines I've built that are now broken, and none of them use mechanics that would be considered exploits

I'm not exactly sure what the best way is to explain how to reproduce, but I can give a personal example. I built a roller coaster loop and a corkscrew as accurately as I could using minecart physics. They both require slime blocks to launch the carts, first vertically followed by horizontally. Previously, they worked flawlessly. Now, without even adjusting any repeaters, it's a complete gamble whether or not you'll get launched properly. It's possible it has to do with pistons rather than repeaters, but even still, the timings are still off without me doing anything
Redstone has been broken from the beginning from when it was added. one of the big issues are inconsistencies. All you really need to do to see or reproduce the issue is create a simple red stone flying machine. You will then notice instead of flying forward like it is supposed to be, it will go back and forth. This bug has been ignored in multiple reports and if you follow you tube, you will see that its been mentioned numerous times. I seen that many of the bug reports highlighting the issue, have and are continually been reported as invalid even though they are not. Please, if you will simply listen to this report, fix the problem. This is one of the main reasons that Java players refused to upgrade to the bedrock edition and your audience has decreased as result. I will post a video of the issue that I am stating on this report since both are related to redstone timing. https://youtu.be/MJma4GBQdEA (exceed 10mb limit however cannot simplify video any farther since there are so many programing errors regarding redstone)
Repeater timings haven't changed. There was a change to moving blocks though. That might be what's causing your problem.
77tiger I agree that Repeater timings haven't changed, however they were never correct to begin with. The timings on the repeaters when I set them to different settings, have always been vastly different when compared to all the other editions. It simply needs to be fixed. There are a lot of redstone contraptions that do not work in this edition. If this post is finally going to fix the issue, then I am at least happy.
compare Java edition repeaters to the Bedrock and you will simply see that the timing values set in the bedrock edition are not the correct timing values for the repeaters. You may even be able to try this in the original console editions of Minecraft. It simply needs a fix. it probably would make more people happy if this is fixed than not. Its been talked about for a long time. As an example just to get proper repeater timings in this edition, I have had to put repeaters back to back so there will be a longer wait for the signal flow.
