Hello,
When, for any reason, the connection between a PlayStation 4 running a Minecraft world and the PlayStation Network drops, Minecraft will show the message "Connection to PSN lost" and will not try to reestablish it. In order to manually reestablish the connection, the world host needs to close & quit and launch it again.
The problem is that PSN friends cannot login when the message "Connection to PSN lost" is active. If a player likes to play multiplayer, the fact that friends cannot login starts to get uncomfortable, since the message is not notified to the normal chat, nor the game tries to reconnect autonomously to the PSN after the console has already reestablished the connection to it.
My personal opinion on the fix strategy is that the game should automatically reconnect to PSN whenever possible.
The same may apply to Microsoft services, but I did not test that thoroughly.
