Since 1.14.20 hotfix update, every villager will go out of their bed to start a new day, but Nitwits villagers won't stand up immediatly compared to other type of villagers.
Proof: there's one screenshot to show a large (unfinished) room with alot of villagers sleeping during night time, the other screenshot shows how every villager will react at day time (2 Nitwits still sleeping).
So I'm wondering. It is a bug or it is a feature that works as intended?

The wiki is not a source for what is working as intended or not. Do we have a link to the blog post when it was released saying thats the intended logic?

Also, here's a quote from the website about the Nitwits:
"They wander around the village for about 2000 ticks after other villagers go to sleep, before seeking a bed. If they can claim a bed, they arise in the morning 2000 ticks after the rest of the village wakes up."
This is something I've never noticed since 1.11 Bedrock update, since the villagers behavior has evolved, and was too much busy fighting Pillagers to see that.
They don't need to wake up for work so they sleep in
