Are you able to upload a screenshot of the issue? Please check if you have any texture packs enabled as they may be causing the issue. If it works without the texture packs it might be a texture pack incompatibility and would help the devs know where to look.

I cannot add a screen shot i tried on xbox and my phone but I couldnt figure out how and I do not have a computer yet but I was not using a texture pack for any of my bug reports.

I tried going through the nether portal again on my own world and it was normal i will ask my friend to go back on his world so i can test it but he is asleep right now so i will when he wakes up.
