Make sure you're updated onto the latest version of Minecraft that should solve the issue

Same issue here, both for me and someone I know. (iPad on iPadOS 13.3 and iPhone 5s on iOS 11.4.1, both running the latest Minecraft Bedrock release 1.14.3)
