Tapping the icon begins the app's startup process but then as soon as the MOJANG logo comes up for a couple of seconds, the app shuts down. Crash confirmed on iPad Mini (first version) under iOS 9.3.5 and iPad Mini 2 under iOS 12.4.5. iPad Air 2 running iOS 13.3.1 starts up Minecraft just fine.
