Observers pulsing when moved is an essential mechanic in countless redstone contraptions and has been an established mechanic for years on Java Edition and Bedrock Edition. If this stays in the game all the way to the release, this will break:
-The majority of flying machines
-Piston doors
-Countless other redstone contraptions that make use of pistons and observers
Observers not pulsing when being placed is a very welcome parity change. However, they have to pulse when moved by pistons, which they currently do not. If keeping the new parity change and fixing this bug is not an option, a reversal of this new parity change would be preferrable to everyone.
While I agree that observers not pulsing when placed is a great change, and I would like the feature added very much, I honestly guessed that this would end up happening. Please try and fix this ASAP Mojang, much appreciated.
I experienced it too was trying to make a 1 wide horizontal triple piston extender but for some reason observers were just not pulsing they absolutely didn't test the beta at all hope it gets fixed in the next beta because this is a crucial bug and brakes all sorts of things
Hi all,

Please limit comments to new information and refrain from disparaging comments about the devs. I understand getting frustrated with changes you don't like but nothing is done out of malice or incompetence. Its all just people doing their best to deliver a game we all love.

This is most likely due a lack of testing of the parity change where observers no longer activate when placed.
