I have owned Minecraft PS4 Edition digitally for as long as I can remember (definitely before bedrock update) I have achievements on this version of the game as proof that I definitely did own it, so when bedrock released and I didn't want to play that edition I was told I could switch back to the original PS4 edition through a tab in the menu of bedrock edition. This tab is not there for me and I have no clue why... I have uninstalled and re installed multiple times to no avail so I even went the extra step of buying a used Minecraft PS4 disc to see if that would work and it did not. Is there any way this can be fixed or am I stuck not being able to play the version that I paid for?

I think it's a bit unfair that this report was marked as a duplicate; in the report that this allegedly duplicates there is no indication that the user who created it owned the disc before the Bedrock update. I feel that this report should be reopened and investigated.Â
I couldn’t agree more, I’m fuming about this as my issue still hasn’t been solved. I don’t get what’s not to understand, I owned the PS4 edition digitally and have achievements as proof and yet I can’t switch editions. I took it even further by spending my own money to buy an old copy of the game on disc and it still didn’t work. And the advice they gave me is ‘if you can’t switch editions you didn’t own the PS4 version’ so my hard evidence of owning the PS4 version is a lie then right? Unbelievable.
Thank you for your report!
