When you spawn a mob, like a zombie or villager, it cannot pick up items whereas it’s natural counterpart can(sometimes)
I originally discovered this when working with villagers but when you use an egg or command to spawn a villager or other mob it cannot pick up ANY items!
It seems like it should pick up items, especially in the case of the villager!
