The video below is but one of the resulting issues that arises from the whole problem. It prevents gameplay but audio remains.
It glitches quite horribly when xbox announcements such as friends online or Achievements and even mouse and keyboard use, glitching out the visuals and rendering play impossible.

It seems to occur mostly for no real reason, even without the mouse and keyboard connected. When I move the mouse, that visual glitch occurs and it is a repeating thing.
Anything from friends coming online, messages and achievement announcements results in the glitch and it happens every single time.
