When you place observer on the flowing water....observer texture will stay on the 'on state'
How to produce it:>
1. Place water and close it with building block

I'm no longer able to reproduce this as of 1.16.0.66.
Is anyone else able to repro this on the latest BETA? If so please provide steps to reproduce the issue.
After the 1.16.0 update the problem still exists (1.16_obserror.png) but has gotten worse.
When I replace the observers the red dot disappears but the observers are still broken and don't update. This happened after closing the world/Minecraft and opening it again.
When I build another observer clock some blocks apart from the affected blocks it works until I close Minecraft and start the world again.
This is total crap because everything with observers is now broken and there are corrupted block spaces everywhere.
I tried to reproduce the wireless redstone bug, this doesn't seem to work so it has nothing to do with that behaviour.
This applies to both BDS and Windows 10 independently with the same map.
i was working on a new machine for my youtube channel and it works once then the detection observer will not detect the flowing lava to turn off the dispenser after the first time. have to replace the lava ever time. observer shows that it has constant power, not able to update it to remove the power state. able to reproduce if on demand if requested.
Updated summary to match MCPE-61175, which had been confirmed separately but describes the issue more clearly. This was reported fixed in 1.16.100.55 beta.
While the texture appears on, placing a piston on top has no effect meaning the observer isn't actually powering despite showing it.
It also doesn't do anything if you cause a block update on the "observing" side, the observer appears permanently off.
