Hostile mobs path finding seems to be buggy the mob will try to pathfinder and get stuck on a block and start spinning and or will hit a invisible wall and start walking in a odd direction trying to get to the player.
Another big that I've noticed that's been in the game is when you have a passive mob on a lead they tend to get stuck on blocks every now and then and break the leadΒ
