Multiplayer with screens off

I have worlds that I want to be able to access on all of my devices signed into my Xbox live account.  Until that becomes a feature, I want to open the world on my computer, but as soon as my monitors turn off, (my computer is set not to enter sleep mode automatically) the world no longer appears on the friends list of my phone, even though the world is open.

Hi Evan,

You need to change your power settings for your PC. Its not possible for Minecraft to continue running when your PC/Monitor (sorry thought I'd clarify here because at first glance it looked like I didn't read your report) goes into a sleep mode.

This really falls under technical support as opposed to a bug report. We have an amazing community (links below) that may be able to help you set up your device the way you want.

If your device isnt going to sleep but is just switching off the screen, you're likely being affected by MCPE-31994. Unfortunately this is a limitation of the UWP platform and has been listed as "Won't Fix". To work around this you could set up a "Bedrock Dedicated Server" but if you have a switch or PS4 you're likely to have issues connecting to it without using third party utilities.
