[MCPE-64800] Cannot make Grass Path blocks under Fence Gates

When a grass block is under a fence gate, it won't let me make it become a grass path. But if I remove the fence gate, I can make it a grass path and then put the fence gate back on it and it will stay a grass path.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Place fence gate on a grass block
2. Use a shovel on the grass block
3. Does nothing

Workaround:
4. Remove fence gate
5. Use shovel on the same block
6. Place fence gate
7. Fence gate on grass path

We're actually already tracking this issue in MCPE-38029, so I've ask for this MCPE-38029 to be reopened and this ticket to be resolved and linked as a duplicate.

If you would like to add a vote and any extra information to the main ticket it would be appreciated.

Don't sweat it, you don't think to search for closed tickets when you're issue is clearly ongoing (that and it filters out closed stuff by default). Hopefully your report helps get this one re-opened and fixed!

Not to mention your description was top notch, definitely not a waste!
