Whenever I try joining a server, it shows me a pop up that says "Invalid Identity Public Key". I'm not sure as to why this error is occurring, my WiFi is working completely fine and there aren't any issues with my Xbox account, please find a solution to this problem, thank you.

I've not seen any other reports for this so its very likely this is environmental. Many corporate and education networks use SSL inspection which can cause issues with key verification but without more information its impossible to know.
Before logging a new bug report please try an alternate, known working internet connection. Something like a 4g connection can be a good test. If you still believe there to be a bug you need to give as much information as possible, what you've included here is a good start but doesn't provide enough information for a volunteer to help or confirm the issue. Information such as what server you are connecting to? Whether you have tried another internet connection etc are vital.

I have a similar problem. I play Minecraft Pocket Edition in IOS. When I opened the game a note popping up. It says "There is an error with your account. You will be unable to use the marketplace. Error number -9". I can't enter the marketplace. Also I can't play multiplayer. When I invite my friend, my invitations doesn't pop up in my friend's game. She can't see me in friends tab. I can't join her world too. She can send me invite also I see her in friend tab but when I accept her invite nothing is happen. A few minutes later the world start to loading but then it says "unable to connect to world". Same thing is happen in friends tab. The featured servers not shown. It says" coming soon". So I added a server and tried join but it said "unable to connect to world" a few seconds later it said " invalid identity public key". My friend and I are connected to Xbox. The fix for me was removing accessories and re-signing in to my microsoft account.
I had a cape that was no longer available in my client so I removed it and re-signed in and after that I was ready to go! Hopefully this helps.
