Due to the implementation of piglins, pillagers no longer hold their unloaded crossbows with two arms. They look weird with their arms down and not holding their crossbows with two.

It was changed to that position because a pillager captain was passive and can’t shoot with a always charged crossbow and they did that so the pillager captain can shoot
Pillagers will hold their crossbows down if they are in the passive state or have not charged their crossbow yet. If their crossbow is charged, it will revert back to their normal position.

I think it's fine as it is. What if the Pillager at some point gets tired of holding their crossbow when not near their target?
