I've been having connection issues with minecraft bedrock edition on the nintendo switch. It's really frustrating when i try to play with friends online. It keeps saying "you must be friends with the person we're trying to play with" even though we're friends in game. In the video I provided, my friend tried to play online with me, Is there anyway this issue can be fixed?

The message indicates that you and the other person are not friends on the network you're trying to play across. The Switch can connect with other devices across either the Nintendo network or the Microsoft Xbox Live network, but there are specific requirements for which one you use. Please review the Nintendo Switch FAQ to ensure that you're using the right network and settings for what you want to do. It would also be a good idea to ask other community members for help on a discussion forum, as this is probably a setup problem and not a bug. I'm not sure whether Nintendo has a community help forum, but if they do that sounds like the best place to ask.
If you can't find a solution that way, come back here and add more details. If there is a bug, the more details you provide the faster we might be able to find the problem. (But don't give us personal information, such as your gamertag.)

Thank you for information. But me and the person in the video are friends in real life and online, the servers refused to allow us to play with one another. If it did work out, it'll crash both are Nintendo switches eventually.
