I am playing onΒ Normal Survival for the Nether Beta Bedrock version and I live in a zombie village. I have eliminated all the zombie villagers and put torches on and around my house, but somehow creatures/mobs keep spawning close to where I live. Even right next to a torch.
To replicate. Build a regular square house out of anything. Place one torch on each outer and inner wall of the house. Then put 2 torches 5 to 8 blocks away in all four directions (North, South, East, West). Wait till dawn and then leave and come back a minute later. Then look around for a few minutes.
