I bought Minecraft on google Play Store in order to play with my friends during house quarantine. But the problem is every time I want to join my friend's world or he wants to join mine, an error always appears saying 'unable to connect to world'. This problem persists in Survival and Creative mode.
We both bought Minecraft full version and have turned on Multiplayer Game. The difference is I am using Android 9.0 to play while he's using iPhone 7 Plus running on IOS 12.4. I believe this should not be a problem as Minecraft has promised to offer cross-play function across all platforms. Also I have literally spent hours on the internet trying to fix this problem myself to no avail.
I really hope that Mojang Team is able to fix this issue quickly. I really need your help during these dark times, because a good game could help you to forget about reality for a while and I think Minecraft is one such game.
