When you open chat in any game mode, you will place the block or item you have in your hand. (This bug is for 0.8.1, 0.8.1 is marked as unreleased in the bug tracker.)
What I expected to happen was...:
Chat would open up normally
What actually happened was...:
Chat opened up, but I also placed the block/item I was holding.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Join a local or multiplayer server
2. Open chat.
