When in survival mode. bone meal is never consumed

MCPE-6493 says that bonemeal is consumed on any block

Having same problem, 1 bone meal plants a huge field of trees without consuming it. I felt cheaty.

I thought they patched it in 0.8.1? It also happened to me before but not now.
