Villagers will not do anything

I do not what causes this glitch, all i know is that at some point, for a reason unknown. the villagers in our base stopped breeding, restocking trades, accepting new workstations or beds, or anything for that matter. there are 2 open blocks above each bed, workstations are accessible and are not blocked by anything. both have been given 2+ stacks of bread, and carrots. there are 2 more beds available for villagers. i've also notices this is happening at my village. i have destroyed all the beds in the village, and placed them by a bell, which they also have no reaction when it rings no matter what difficulty it is in. the rooms in out base is a 3x3 room. with quarts on 3 sides in the walls, a gate and fences in the front for access, and glowstone in the middle of each of the walls. one is a farmer and the other is a librarian. also villagers in the village have no workstations, yet they remain to still "have a job" and will not accept anything i have place. or my friends i have in the world with me, i know on java not even on bedrock there is a system in the villagers that judges a player and tells the other villagers yatta yatta yatta. this is urgent and needs to be fixed asap, as for a unknown reason this breaks the villagers, rendering them useless. the only reason i see this happening, was that we had to kill one cause he didnt have good trades and we needed room for a better librarian. besides that i haven't actually done anything bad to the villagers. i even left a spot for the farmer to farm in his little home. any help/fixes would be greatly appreciated. thank you. if any other information is needed i will try to supply. i also searched the forms and found a similar bug that affected on realms servers. this might also be the same issue. again thank you.
