[MCPE-68168] We're unable to connect to the Marketplace. Maybe check your internet connection?

I'm using an IPad and playing Minecraft version 1.14.30 and cannot make a purchase from the marketplace because it says "We're unable to connect to the Marketplace. Maybe check your internet connection?". I've read of other issues but no solutions.
