i was clearing some ground for a build with tnt when i notied i wasnt getting any where. so i put a grass block next to the tnt and blew it up. it stayed the same. i did the same with cobble and it blew up. please fix this i want to start building as soon as possible

This happens when you forceclose the app. To fix it, you might have to forceclose it again. ONLY forceclose it while in the world.
