Blocks that are supposed to give off light do not while Ray-tracing is turned on. Lava also does not give off light. The result is the same regardless of what the settings are. This happens on any of the Ray-tracing resource packs that were made available from https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/guides/minecraft-rtx-texturing-guide/.

I have the same bug as well. Lava pools don't emit any light, they can be lighted by torches (because the torch light is brighter than the lava itself).

As mentioned here, the lava thing seems to be specific to the NVIDIA resource packs (this is the bug that actually sent me here). Unsure about the other blocks though. Can confirm redstone didn't light up when i hit it.

This issue was reported in an earlier RTX beta build, but has been temporarily closed as Awaiting Response
Several improvements and fixes have been made to the Minecraft with RTX beta for Windows 10. Be sure to check out the Known Issues List and Frequently Asked Questions for the latest details, as these issues do not need to be reported here.
If you would still like to report a bug, please make sure that you have checked that your system and graphics drivers are up to date. Also, please make sure that any packs you are using are valid and up to date. (You might need to check the Marketplace for the very latest updates.)
