Ever since the Hotfix 1.14.60 came out,there has been studdering lag while playing splitscreen on the Xbox One. It appears to happen every 15 seconds or so,and is most noticeable when placing/breaking blocks,flying an elytra,or running. It seems to have short periods where it operates great,and then starts to studder again. Turning down settings for render distance and simulation distance do not appear to help. It makes it somewhat frustrating,and hard to play.

Atleast I know it's not just an Xbox One issue. This has happened before, after a big update,and it took awhile before they were able to optimize the game again. Hoping it doesn't take much longer.
Can confirm this is happening on PS4 on split screen and if playing with 1 other player that is invited. If the players, whether split screen or multiplayer, get 30 blocks apart, the stutter is atrocious. It is very much like rubberbanding the players in the 30 block radius. When you enter or leave it almost crashes the game. I have had a Jira ticket in since day 1, it is unplayable. 😞
Erin Crowe, I feel your pain. The lag was bad enough that if two players playing splitscreen try to place or break blocks at the same time it can cause major studdering. It was bad like this after the Aquatic update,mainly because I believe it was not fully optimized, and I believe it's the same here.
