I was clearing out a space to create a blaze farm in the nether in survival mode when blocks I was placing did not get removed from my inventory. By all accounts, I have visually placed blocks, but nothing has changed in the inventory. When interacted with, they seem to be solid till you place something like a piece of redstone dust, a lever, or another different block next to it i.e. update the block. When I mine it with a pickaxe, it just disappears without dropping a block and taking away on the durability of the pickaxe. Simply logging off the world and re-logging back on sometimes solves the problem along with updating the inventory by getting another of the same bugged block. I have posted screenshots of before I place and after I place the bugged rock. What you see on the hotbar is all there is in my inventory at that moment and only a named Elytra is on my back. This is a copy of a world I was working on in the previous 1.14.60 version before I joined the beta. I just wanted to create a blaze farm for blaze rods and a better fuel source for my super smelters than lava buckets.
