After playing around with the RTX beta one of the test worlds had rain start in which I noticed that the sun didn't fade away like it was supposed to remaining visible even when testing thunderstorms the sun remained visible.

I was going to post this bug. Glad I searched before I make a duplicate bug report.
With raining, sun shouldn't be visible, there should be an overcast.. cloudy.. with reduced visibility.
Suggestion: variable on type of rain.. light, moderate, heavy.. it'll affect visibility.. how far you can see and how much you can see sun. For sun: can see subtle glow in sky (light rain) or invisible (heavy rain).
