The Soul Speed enchantment is meant to be exclusive to bartering and/or bastion remnants' loot. However, it can be obtained through fishing like other enchants.

Can confirm. I did an hour of AFK fishing and got a soul speed II book.

Relates to MC-174690 and MCPE-75468.

I got an enchanted book with multiple enchantments including Soul Speed. I love this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can confirm on Nintendo Switch 1.16.1, just got Soul Speed III from fishing

Fixed in 1.16.100.54 Beta

It happened to me once. Now my dreams of bartering with Piglins just to get Soul Speed are gone. I cannot say, however, that I was not overjoyed!
