Summary
In the recipe book, when trying to see the recipe for a stone tool, it shows that blackstone is required to craft the tool.
How to reproduce:
/gamemode survival/clear/give @s crafting_tablePlace the crafting table down.
/give @s stickOpen the crafting table.
Click on the recipe for a stone sword.
-> It shows that you need blackstone for it ❌
Original Description
I started a new world in the new beta and when I was going to make a stone sword, it required Blackstone instead of cobblestone

I don’t think this is intended, since it can confuse new players, making them think, that they would require blackstone.
Lay on a mobile device and can't find a way around this issue.

yeah mojang you should change it back to cobblestone itll make new players think they need blackstone to make a stone pickaxe that will cause them to not like minecraft and probably delete it we dont want that
Theo it DEFINITELY is. Otherwise, the game would change between blackstone and cobblestone, but it doesn't.
Blackstone is an alternative to Cobblestone which can be found in the Nether. You're still able to use Cobblestone to craft Stone tools 🙂
