Crafting of wooden tools using the new crimson or warped planks is not possible. This makes it nigh impossible to start the game in the nether, as it is required to collect most materials (apart from stems, shroomlight, weeping vines, twisting vines, soul sand and soil, as well as materials found inside chests and craftable materials from the before mentioned planks)
