The bug
Crimson/warped woods can only craft their respective items (doors, signs, etc). They cannot be turned into sticks, chests, crafting tables, and so on.

this is still effecting 1.16.55.
cant even build sticks with it,for me.
Partially fixed in 1.16.0.57 Beta - crafting tables, sticks, chests etc can be crafted using the crimson and warped planks, but tools cannot be crafted yet - this will be addressed in a future beta.
