The only crops that does get watered is Carrots and wheat. Everything else does not get watered. Sorry I couldn't get a screenshot. Also this is in version 1.12.2

I am not able to reproduce this in 1.14.60.
FWIW it is farmland that reacts to water by becoming hydrated, and crops grow more quickly in hydrated farmland. Water does not impact crops directly. However, farmland can take some time to become hydrated based on the random ticks process. It could be that hydration just happens more slowly in Bedrock Edition than what you're used to from the old PS4 Edition or Java.
