When turtles breed, the one carrying the eggs goes to the home beach and sits for awhile,then goes in the water and gradually swims down. When it hits the ocean floor, it then circles and bumps into walls trying to swim up (usually never gets up). If it does manage to get to the surface, the cycle is repeated. The turtle never lays its egg.

I have this same issue on my XBOX One X.
Tracked down numerous turtles. fed them and got them to mate, then nothing. finally followed them in the water and they just drop down in the water and twirl.
I haven't played MINECRAFT in a while, this past weekend I decided to start a new world and Im wondering what happened.? I keep having my screen freeze up and have to completely reboot my XBOX to fix it. This happens 3 or 4 times in a 4 hour session. Its getting old.
Then the turtle issue and now tridents and ship wrecks and few are far between. It seems like the whole game has changed is a bad direction.
