Ambient noises playing too frequently. (Getting annoying)

The cave sounds have become unbearably frequent to the point where I can’t go mining with being frustrated, and since we cannot turn cave sounds off at the moment it makes it even worse. They aren’t giving ambience, they are just annoying me. Because I thought that only one could play every few minutes, but on here they play every 10 seconds or so. Sometimes playing the same sound multiple times. I would really like this to be fixed or at least give us the option to turn ambient sounds off. Thank you.
