I saw a similar issue:
As you can see on the pictures, when a bloc is in a dark zone, it's possible there is bug with the texture and the bloc seems to be darker. Sometimes even if you put a torch or break the blocs upon to see the sky, the issue isn't resolved and the bloc is always dark.
