Just add that if you remove the torch and place it again, the light is ok.

Sure, it's a bug. I was just adding a behavior that I noted.
The bug is very annoying when you go mining.

I have this issue as well.

I had trouble finding this report, though. The mobile version of this site does not list extra details like which other tickets this one is linked to, and it also doesn't allow me to filter or sort search results. I strongly encourage adding this basic functionality to reduce duplicate reports.

Just to comment that the bug is still present in Builds 2 and 3 (this afternoon I will check it in Build 4)

Occurs only when not exposed to direct sunlight.

I still have this issue in build 4.

We're closing all issues only related to 0.6, 0.7 or snapshots of any version.

Cleaning through old issues... resolving as fixed as of 1.0.3, though this bug was fixed much much earlier.
