Now that giant mushrooms added, it would be logical that the bone meal do mushrooms grow.
Not only occurs on my device, they forgot to implement it.

You can make giant mushrooms out of those little tiny mushrooms. Just click on the mushroom with a bone meal. You might need to click click more the mushrooms in order to grow. Always make sure that it has space to grow because even you have done the steps correctly, it will not still grow because there is no space it to grow on. I hope this will help!
