Nether fungi is unlimited

This is the best I could've done regarding a screenshot of the bug. The nether fungi does not run out. I accidentally collected the fungi in the Warped Forest biome and when I placed it down to get it out of my inventory, it stayed there. I did this many times and it still didn't work.
