When using shears in a dispenser on bee nests/hives, honeycomb always gets sent out in any direction possible. This makes impossible to make auto bee farms efficient without dedicating massive hopper collection systems to prevent item loss. A solution is to make all harvested items drop out of the front of the nest/hive. This would also apply to players manually harvesting them, as it makes it predictable as to where the items will come out, preventing some from being pushed through leaves up to the three tops

As Stephanie Astro mentions, hopper minecarts may help with this issue, since they collect items up to about 1.2 blocks above and about .2 blocks to the side of the block they are in. That's a bigger range than hoppers, which only collect from the block above.
That said, the issue in this report is not about any specific collection system. It's just that the honeycomb pops out in any direction.
Since this report covers the same behavior as MCPE-60031 I'll have it resolved as a duplicate.
I must say I had the same issue with a hopper. Bottles popping out all over the place, anywhere but the hopper.I think (finger's crossed) I have resolved the issue with a hopper minecart but it has to be raised on tracks.
