My minecraft acted as if I was not on the beta

When I launched Minecraft, I saw that my main menu background was the nether like Java Edition 20w14a. When the Menu loaded, my version was still on 1.16.0.60, but the play button, instead of saying Play Beta, it said Play as if I opted out of the beta.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch Minecraft

  2. If the background is not the Nether, then ...

  3. Reload Minecraft until the background comes

How to fix issue without modifying game files/code

  1. Reload Minecraft
