I can invite my xbox friends to a party and was once able to invite them to a game session where we actually played together. I use a pc while they are on xbox. I can no longer invite to a game but I can invite them to a party? I am very confused bc all my multiplayer settings are not changeable and yet I can still do social stuff with my xbox friends. please explain or fix this

I cannot even select the option to make sure it is multiplayer. Like no matter how many times I click the button, it will not turn on. So I don't know what to do since I would not be able to do the suggested solution. Here is a picture of the screen.
