when replanting wheat for example, it has a chance of growing immediately and you get double the wheat after.

I dont see this issue being a duplicate. Planting crops now is a nightmare as gaps are regularly left.
We're tracking this issue as MCPE-65291, so this ticket is being resolved and linked as a duplicate.
If you would like to add a vote and any extra information to the main ticket it would be appreciated.
