When I load an adventure mode world, I cannot break anything. I used a starter chest and used the ax to try to chop a nearby tree. It wouldn't break. I went to a cliff to try to mine. It wouldn't work. I was on an Xbox One S in the Beta program. Ii have a disc.

You're not supposed to be able to break blocks in Adventure mode. Switch to Survival mode if you want to break blocks.
